Garden cleanup day

Here is initial list of stuff we might do:

Miller memorial/Dogpatch community garden cleanup day

Proposed

Weed and mulch around the large avocado tree on the lower lawn

Repair benches

Sand and finish wood railings

Repair any worn-out railroad tie stairs

Seriously prune all of the “Chinese lantern” bushes at the top of the Franconia stairs.

Search all corners of the garden for trash and clean out

Prune and trim wild roses around Rose Arbor

Building entrance archway over the Brewster Street entrance using the dead plum tree as the arch

Remove and restore the Dogpatch garden sign

Prune large pepper tree that is currently hanging over Brewster Street (need ladders and chainsaw)

Paint over any graffiti.

Organize toolshed

See you then!
